I wrote this article long back... I don't even remember when I wrote it. At the moment, the Ananya effect is taking its toll. Whatever I type, I feel it is a cliche in the making. Hence I am taking a break from writing.

Life goes on.

Please read the following theory...

The George Carlin Theory:

“The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it?

A Death.

What’s that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you’re too young, you get a gold watch and you go to work. You work forty years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities. You become a little baby, you go back into the womb, spend your last nine months floating. . .and you finish off as an orgasm.”

George Carlin

This particular mail forwarded to me by a cousin of mine, made me think a little about how the world will be in that case! The most interesting part is.. How to identify your children! Once you are out of the death bed and into an old age home.. you get a visitor.. a stranger of course because memory cannot be reversed even though the life cycle is reversed and he says you are his father. ( It is quite a debatable topic how the stranger knows who his father is... but then thinking too much about this will only cause cerebral hemorrhage I guess.)

So you have two options here. Believe him or don’t believe him. How can you believe him? Perhaps you need to do a DNA test to find out whether he really is your kid or not. Otherwise, mind you.. You can never be sure until he goes back to your wife’s womb.. (Pardon! Pardon! ) and then also neither of you can be sure about who is the father of the baby because “adultery” if any is committed nine months “later”. (Remember.. we are in a reverse cycle.. )

Ah.. This brings us to another complicated problem.. Who the hell is your wife?? You can never be sure. No DNA or whatever test can tell you who your wife is. Suppose she will come out from the death bed only a couple of years later... You don’t know whether your wife is living at that time.. She may be there.. or she may come to this world a couple of years later or twenty years later. You may not have a wife at all.

Since you don’t know anything about this world because your starting point now is your deathbed, you need to learn everything from scratch. ABC, 123.. Everything. And then you meet your son/daughter.. after some years your wife... then you go to a company as a Vice President.. You keep learning new things.. By the time you are 21 (Reverse cycle.. ) you know everything about practical world. Now it is time for some studies. By the time you enter the most difficult degree to complete.. i.e.. LKG.. you are about to burst with an overdose of knowledge.

Well a further discussion of this topic on practical grounds results in exactly a similar life cycle as the life cycle of a normal human being. Instead of coming into this world as a eight pound bouncing baby.. you come to this world as a hundred and fifty pound adult. Instead of meeting your mother.. You meet your son/daughter. Instead of dating first.. you love your partner first.. start sharing everything with her.. move through the difficult times and then when all your problems are taken care of.. when you are young.. you know each other so perfectly well by that time.. you begin dating .. and you enjoy it like anything.

Instead of going to school you go to a company. Let us simply rename school as work and work as school. It is the same thing.

So, What George Carlin says is basically the same kind of life but with revolutionary changes in the way human relationships are started/ended. Other than that, it is the same old stinking life.. and as soon as the new charm wears out, another George Carlin comes up with a new idea... of beginning life from the orgasm.. and ending it on the death bed.

A vicious circle there???

Imagine how it would be if the beginning of a movie or a detective novel should be the climax!! :)
